1989 yılında kariyerine başlayan Steve Forest 1993 yılında kendi alternatif müziğini yapmaya başladı ve 1994 senesinde Londra’ya taşındı.
6 senede boyunca Blue Note gibi İngiltere’nin en önemli kulüplerinde Breakbeat ve Drum’n’bass çaldı.
2000 yılında İtalya’ya geri dönen Forest prodüktör’ü Nicola Fasano ve müzisyen Stefano Taboga ile tanıştı ve Stradivari Müzik Yapım Şirketini kurdular.
2003 yılında Pop/House müzik yapmaya başlamaya karar veren Forest Nicola Fasano ile takım olarak kendi şirketleri Jolly Roger : Sound of Pirates isimli şirketi kurdular.
