2015 takvim yılının üçüncü grand slam’i olan Wimbledon bugün başlıyor. 129. kez düzenlenen en prestijli tenis organizasyonlarından biri olan turnuvaya iki hafta boyunca Londra ev sahipliği yapacak.
Turnuvanın ilk gününde ise gözler merkez kortta olacak. TSİ 15:00’de başlayacak maçlarda ilk olarak merkez kortta son şampiyon ve 1 numaralı seribaşı Novak Djokovic korta çıkacak. Sırp raketin rakibi Alman Philipp Kohlschreiber. Bu maçın hemen ardından ise Kadınların favorilerinden Maria Sharapova ile Britanyalı Johanna Konta karşılaşması oynanacak. Merkez kortta günün son maçı ise 4 numaralı seribaşı Stan Wawrinka ile Portekizli Joao Sousa, ikinci tur mücadelesi için ter dökecek. 1 numaralı kortta ise saat 15:00’deki ilk müsabakada beş Wimbledon şampiyonluğu bulunan ABD’li Serena Williams, Rus raket Margarita Gasparyan karşısında olacak.
