Güney Kore Pop Kültürünü Geliştirme Derneği, Japonya’yı ‘Gangnam Style’ şarkısına kayıtsız kalmakla suçladı. Dernek başkanı Han Koo-Hyun, dünyada müzik listelerinde 1. sıraya oturan parçanın Japonya listelerinde 30. sırada olmasını kıskançlıkla açıkladı.
Han, İngiltere’de 1’inci, ABD‘de ise müzik listelerinde 2’nci sırada olan parçanın, Japonya’nın iTunes sıralamasında 30’uncu olmasını oldukça garip olarak nitelendirdi.
Han, birçok Japon müzik bloğunun, parçanın, video paylaşım sitesi Youtube’da 530 milyon kez izlenmesini, Güney Korelilerin geliştirdiği otomatik bir yazılıma bağladığını ve bu iddiaları “çok komik” bulduğunu söyledi.
Japonların öne sürdüğü bu komplo teorisinin, olimpiyat rekorundan şüphe etmek kadar saçma olduğunu dile getiren Han, durumun “çocukça bir kıskançlık” olduğunu savundu.
Han, bu kıskançlığı, Youtube’da en çok izlenenler listesinde tek bir Japon videosu bulunmasına, onun da 29’uncu sırada yer almasına bağladı. Güney Koreli dernek lideri, genç bir Japon’un, diyet kolanın içine naneli şeker atarak, kolanın verdiği tepkimeyi konu alan videonun, Japon mizah anlayışını gösterdiğini söyledi.
İsmini Güney Kore’nin başkenti Seul’un bir bölgesinden alan Gangnam Style isimli parça, Koreli Parc Jae-sang (PSY) tarafından seslendirilmişti. Şarkıcının 15 Temmuz’da yayınlanan videosu, Youtube’da 2 milyon 141 bin 758 kere beğenilerek rekor kırmış, PSY, İngiliz müzik listelerine giren ilk Koreli şarkıcı olmuştu.
Türkiye’de sosyal paylaşım sitesi Twitter’ın “trend topic” listesine 3 kez ilk sıradan giren Gangnam Style, “En Beğenilen Video” olarak Guinnes Rekorlar kitabına girdi.
