Apple’ın 8 Nisan’da yayınladığı iOS 8.3 güncellemesi ile iPhone’lara Türkçe Siri geldi. Yüzbinlerce kişinin soru sorduğu Siri’nin gerçeği ortaya çıktı. Türkiye Gazetesi’nin haberine göre, Siri olduğunu çarşamba günü öğrendiğini söyleyen Uğurlu, çalışmanın 3 yıl önce gerçekleştirildiğini anlattı. “Sesimin metro ve uçakta kullanılacağını sanıyordum” diyen Uğurlu, aldığı ücreti ise “sözleşmeye göre söylemem yasak” diyerek açıklamadı.

Apple sana nasıl ulaştı?
Teklif Apple’dan gelmedi. Bir arkadaşım seslendirme şirketinin iki kadın sesi aradığını söyledi. Sesli demo göndermem için beni 15 dakikada bir arıyordu. Ben pek istekli değildim ama sonra kabul ettim.

Siri olduğun ne zaman öğrendin?
Çarşamba günü Türkçe Siri güncellemesi ile öğrendim. Bir arkadaşım beni arayarak “Siri’nin sesi senin sesine ne kadar çok benziyor” dedi.
Peki ne hissettiniz?
İlk başlarda çok heyecanlandım. Ancak sonra biraz korkmaya başladım. Çünkü Google’dan arama yaptığımda insanların bel altı konuştuklarını gördüm. Bir an kimliğimin açık olmasından endişe ettim.
Siri sen iPhone kullanmıyor musun?
Evet kullanıyorum ama bende iPhone 4 var. iPhone 4’de ise güncelleme yapılamadığı için malesef Türkçe Siri yok . Hemen dinledim “evet bu benim” dedim.
BANA SESİNİ UÇAKTA KULLANACAĞIZ DEDİLER
Nasıl yani. Bilmeden mi yaptınız?
Ben bu seslendirmeyi 3 yıl önce yaptım. Bana sesimin metroda ve uçakta kullanılacağını söylediler. Ancak Siri’de duyunca olayın boyutunu anladım.
Bilmeden nasıl çalıştınız peki?
Önce bir sözleşme imzaladık. Uzun bir sözleşme. Bazı maddelerini hatırlamıyorum bile. 4 hafta boyunca seslendirme yaptım. Harf harf okudum. Cümleleri yanlış ve doğru şekilde okudum. 6-7 ay boyunca benim sesim analiz edilmiş.
Nasıl bir süreçti?
Çok yoğundu. Aynı saatte başladık ve hep aynı saatte bitti. Hayatımın en sıkıcı konuşmasıydı. Uykum geliyordu, belim tutuluyordu.
“İNSAN OLMA” DİYE UYARDILAR
Sizce sesiniz çok duygusuz değil mi?
Zaten benden de bunu istediler. Zaman zaman beni “Yelda insan oluyorsun” diye uyardılar.
Herkes merak ediyor. Çok para aldınız mı?
Sözleşmeye göre miktarı söyleyemem ama çok olmadığı kesin.
Yani Apple’a seslendirme yapıyorsunuz fazla para almıyor musunuz?
İçeriğini zaten bilmiyordum. Sözleşmede 5 yıl boyunca hiç bir bilişim firmasına seslendirme yapamayacağım maddesi bulunuyor.
İlk Siri Susan Bennett
Milyonlarca iPhone ve iPad’lerdeki sesli komut uygulaması Siri, 2011 yılında iPhone ile çıktı. Türkçe Siri çıkana kadar Türkler Susan Bennett ile İngilizce konuştu. Bennett da Siri için kayıt yaptığından habersizdi. “Ses kaydı yapılırken ne için yaptığımı bilmiyordum. 2011’de yeni iPhone çıktığında arkadaşlarım sesimin Siri’ye çok benzediğini söyleyince öğrendim” diyen Bennett, kendisinin gerçek Siri olduğunu ispatlamak için çok çaba harcamış.
