Kimi yapımcılar, oyuncuların geride kalan son performanslarını değerlendirirken,kimileri ya yeni teknik alternatiflere yöneldi, ya da farklı isimlerle yola devam etmeyi tercih etti. Çekim esnasında ölen 18 ünlü isim için tıklayın
Bu isimlerden içlerinden en şüphelisi tabiki Bruce Lee. Azrail’e çelme takan isimdi. 20 Temmuz 1973 akşamı eşiyle dışarı çıkmak üzerelerken Bruce Lee kendisini yorgun hissettiğini söylemiş ve eşinin verdiği uyku ilacını alarak ‘biraz dinlenmek üzere’ yatağa uzanmış. Bir daha uyandırılamamış. Eşi durumu farkedip ambulans çağırdığında Bruce Lee hala yaşıyordu. Hastaneye ulaştırıldıktan kısa bir süre sonra ‘beyin ödemi’ nedeniyle öldüğü açıklandı.
Ve çoğu insan tarafından timsah adam olarak da bilinen Steve Irwin, 7 yıl kadar önce bir vatoz saldırısı nedeniyle Avusturalya’nın kuzeydoğu sahilinde hayatını kaybetmişti. Saldırı sırasında yanında bir tek kameramanı Justin Lyons vardı. Yıllar sonra Lyons, Steve Irwin’in ölümüyle ilgili ilk defa açıklamalarda bulundu.
Şöyle söylüyor: “Kameram açıktı. Şöyle düşünüyordum: ‘Bu harika bir çekim olacak. Kesinlikle belgeselde yer alacak görüntüler olacak, bu harika!’ Sonra birden vatoz önüne geçiverdi ve kuyruğunu göğsüne çılgınca saplamaya başladı.” Irwin, yırtıcı hayvanlarla sayısız defa karşı karşıya gelerek kariyerini inşa etmişti. Öldüğü sırada da Okyanusun En Ölümcül Canlıları başlıklı bir belgesel çekiyordu. Lyons devam ediyor:
